Busy Times for the Practice!

Due to an increase in demand for doctor appointments the wait time for a routine appointment with your doctor could be up to two weeks or sometimes longer.

We recognise that this is not ideal, but the demand for appointments in the current health climate is exceeding what we can offer in the shorter time frame.

The load on our nursing team is also increasing and we urge you to make use of the patient portal to order prescriptions or view your laboratory results.

Also using the new prescription ordering service on the phone will help free up nurse time for more appointments. When you phone the practice press option 2 and you will reach an answerphone service to request a prescription. Remember to leave your name, date of birth, the medications that you require and what pharmacy you would like to use, or say “collect” if picking it up from us.
