The Bexsero vaccine is now funded for children under 5 years to prevent Meningococcal B disease. This will normally be given at 3 months, 5 months, and 12 months of age. It’s recommended that infants under 2 years old be given Pamol for this vaccine to help with fever.
Older children, including those who turned 5 years old on or after 2nd March 2023, are also funded for two doses 8 weeks apart. (This catch-up ends in August 2025.)
