If you test positive for COVID-19, Public Health South may contact you before we do. Once we know, your GP will arrange a telephone consultation with you to ascertain the severity of your symptoms.
If you have mild symptoms you will need to isolate at home for 7 days and monitor your symptoms. If you have any concerns about a change in your symptoms contact us Monday – Friday between 8am and 5.30pm or if after hours contact the phone number, you will be provided with. We will endeavour to contact you every second day via a video link or phone to check on your symptoms and after 7 days if you have recovered you will be able to leave your home and return to your normal activities.
If you have moderate symptoms, you will also need to isolate at home for 7 days and monitor your symptoms. We will contact you every day via phone to check on your symptoms. If you have any concerns about a change in your symptoms contact us Monday – Friday between 8am and 5.30pm or if after hours contact the phone number, you will be provided with. After 14 days if you have recovered you will be able to leave your home and return to your normal activities.
