Test Results
When routine procedures and tests are ordered for you, please phone the nurse for your results if you have not been contacted within 48 hours.
Contact can be by text message or a phone call from your doctor or one of our nurses.
You should be advised at the time of your test approximately how long it will take us to receive your results.
Should your results be abnormal you will be contacted by your doctor, the duty doctor or the nurse on the doctor’s instructions.
If you are registered on our secure online portal, you will be able to view your results once they have been filed by your doctor.
Referrals to Hospitals and Private Specialists
When the doctor refers you for a non-urgent appointment at the hospital or with a private specialist you should hear from them within a month. Please phone the nurse if you have not received an appointment from the hospital or specialist so they can follow up on your referral.
