Measles is circulating in Aotearoa

MEASLES is circulating in Aotearoa although it is not currently in Dunedin.

Two measles vaccinations protects 99% of people.
The vaccine is free for eligible people. If you’re not sure if you’ve had two doses, or if you’re eligible, please check this website: www.info.health.nz/measles-immunity
If you were born before 1969 you are considered immune to measles, and not eligible for a free vaccine.

If you have a fever or a rash, please call us before coming in to the practice as measles is very contagious. We will be checking this with you when you ring for an appointment.
